Use this Zener barrier from Eaton MTL with a temperature sensor in a hazardous location. It converts electrical signals to current levels that are safe for a connected instrumentation device. For versatility, the unit is compatible with both thermocouples and RTDs (resistance temperature detectors). An integrated alarm output notifies you if the preset temperature limits have been reached, allowing you to act quickly.
